My Domain Has Growing Pains

Well, my hosting at Blue Host recently expired, and I changed hosts to one a little close to home. No problems there, though transferring my domain, itself was a bit of a bust. It didn't go through like it was supposed to, and now I have it on back-order. The domain 'coramaximus.com' is currently in some "redemption period", and I think it will be unavailable until new year. The alternative is to spend $70 (US) to redeem it then try to transfer it, again, so I decided it was for the best that I got myself another domain, at least until the old one is available again (assuming it ever is...).

So yeah, coramaximusentertainment.com is a thing, now. It still as crap as it ever was, and I'm still trying to figure iut how I want to continue it. With the NY wait for the old domain, I figure that's as good a deadline as any (to start with, anyway). I've got a few things I want to do, and I'm hoping I can tie them into the website, somehow. I have to start from the bottom - what does/should Coramaximus Entertainment offer? Again, that's coramaximusentertainment.com.

2013 – The year of more

Well, it’s New Year, again, and time for my resolution-o-rama – the point in the year where I decide the things I want to do on the year, knowing full well there’s little chance that I’ll do them.  2010 was the year of the Cozburger...I think...that or 2011, I can’t remember...retrospectively, I consider 2010 the CB year – I got into uni, and for the most part, it was pretty good (I had a rockin’ 25^th for one thing). 2011 was meant to continue that, but turned out to be my “Empire Strikes Back” (I’m starting to regret that offer to rule the galaxy with my dad :( ). Uni went all over the place and it was a bummer all the way. New Year meant a good start to 2012, thanks to Ry-bo and Cam-bo (You guys rock!) and the year, overall, was a real “Return of the Jedi” of my trilogy – a bumpy ride, but I made it through with a well earned victory – a Bachelor’s Degree of Information Technology. Not only that, but Christmas was great, thanks to my bros and their families, and my cuz and his missus for letting me crash on their couch (it was a REALLY comfy couch). Not to mention Ry and Cam, and my pals D-Pad and Shan-zi for making this New Year really good, too.

Anyway, on with the show...

As stated in the title, this shall be the year of more. “More what?”, you may ask, without putting up a hand and waiting your turn like a polite person I might want to actually associate myself with and not punch in the face every time I see it? Well, a lot of little things, really. To start with, I’m continuing from my last resolution to work out - I’m committing myself to a mental institution to doing more gym type stuff, probably involving heavy weights and short periods of wishing I could just die. Like last year, I’ll bet Ryan will a big help in this respect – motivating, support, and threatening to drop heavy barbells on me and my genitals at a moment’s notice. That’s just the kind of lovable chap he is.

Other ‘mores’ involve social activity, like posting more stuff on Facebook and forums. Starting with this blog post (which I wanted to put up on the first day of 2012, but I’ll settle for first WEEK), I wish to write more entries into the Coramaximus.blog. I’m not entirely sure how I’m going to go about this, but the current setup is a little inhibiting, so I’ll have to work that out. There’s also stuff like ‘more DND sessions’, ‘playing more video games’, ‘watching more dvds’, and other such inconsequential tidbits. I’ll probably have to get some kind of work, sooner or later, so I guess I’ll have to fit that in there, somewhere.

Overall, I hope to contribute more to more things – my web-fans (I hope to get some), forums, Facebook stuff, Minecraft – all kinds of things you can poke a stick at (though beware, some will poke back).

And to top it off, why not more adventure :)
